Dr. Anna Ouattara, Founder and CEo

Dr. Anna Ouattara is a global trade compliance and logistics professional with over 15 years of industry experience. For the past 2 years, she has consulted at Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA (MTMUS), where she used her expertise in import/export trade compliance regulations and logistics to ensure that auto parts arrived on time for the CX-50 car model production. She previously worked as a Global Trade Compliance Principal at LII, saving over $5 million in import duties through the Section 301 program, drafting customs rulings for certain products that led to more import duty savings, and working on other US customs trade programs such as GSP. She was a Business Program Professor at Saint Paul College in Minnesota, teaching supply chain and global trade courses for 8 years.

Throughout her career, Dr. Ouattara has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as the 3M Company, a global innovation company; Donaldson Worldwide Company, a leader in filter innovation; and C.H. Robinson, a leading third-party logistics and supply chain management provider. She continues to consult with clients in a range of industries, such as manufacturing, automobile, pharmaceuticals, and travel. She is the former President of the Midwest Global Trade Association (MGTA), a non-profit organization of international business professionals that provides education and support to enhance international opportunities for its members and community.

Dr. Ouattara obtained her doctoral degree in global supply chain at Walden University, a Master’s Degree in International Business from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and an International Trade Specialist certification from Saint Paul College. Dr. Ouattara has been a keynote speaker for various organizations and universities, such as the Minnesota Trade Office, Carlson Business School of Management, the University of Texas Dallas Professional and Executive Business, and the University of Metro State. In her spare time, she travels around the world with her family and volunteers at various non-profit organizations, such as Rescue Mission, Books for Africa, and Feed My Starving Children.
